This is the only virtual fashion vacation we need right now
Post-pandemic fashion’s reality is being defined by the changing technological interfaces. It is not just the fashion weeks and luxury labels that are going through a digital reboot, there are some very cool, curated shopping experiences that are being rolled out for the jet setters who want to explore the best of labels.

One such service has been launched by AiSPi, a unique fashion project that stems from bridging the gap between consumers and hidden gems of the fashion world. With consumers in lockdowns and stores being shut, their #AISPIaNewFashionJourney initiative is the one to watch out for. It is the first of its kind 21-day Summer vacation and fashion voyage for the Indian consumers, bringing a distinct selection of 25 contemporary, inaccessible European designers and brands together. The campaign launches on June 19 and ends on July 13.

The campaign is purely driven towards giving consumers an immersive experience of a European holiday and extends beyond fashion. The 3-week tour of Europe will offer an experience for everyone combining art, cuisine, travel adventures, popular markets, history walks, and more, with the most exciting designers, store owners, and fashion insiders. For those on a lookout for the best of fashion, there are exclusive product offerings, curated fashion edits, culture conversations, and local masterclasses.

With these difficult times, the brand has also ensured to do its bit for those in need.
The brand has partnered with two charities. Jan Sahas in India is working towards empowering women and young girls by eliminating discrimination, preventing violence, educating and empowering, and creating awareness. Le Refuge in France hosts and supports young LGBT + people rejected by their parents, driven out from the family home due to their sexuality and sexual preferences.
“Fashion is an emotion, an experience, a connector – fashion is borderless. It is a very tangible and practical way to connect and remember culture and craft from all corners of the world,” says Aisha Saraf Kothari, Founder, AiSPi “We see AiSPi’s new initiative as a valuable revolution in the fashion system. AiSPi started off as a simple fashion project to create an impact in the industry”.

What makes this experience one of the kind is its edit of designers such as Some of the  0711, Akanksha Sethi, Fyodor Golan, L’alingi, Rosantica, ODP, Concepto and Nita Suri.

At a time when the global fashion market is going through a complete overhaul, initiatives like this count. They have impacted the lives of over 350 shops and designers, 60 emerging artists, and over 10,000 consumers. With Indian art and fashion enthusiasts developing a more discerning taste, their focus is to bring some of the most talented European names to the international market and to develop a new consumer route.

It was while studying fashion journalism at London College of Fashion that Anupam developed a keen interest in the anthropological aspect of the discipline; for him, fashion only makes sense when seen in the context of its environment. He is always on the hunt for great stories, and in his spare time binge-watches films/shows starring Whoopi Goldberg, Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.
