Collections
Cecilie Bahnsen effortlessly develops collections with a recognisable style that celebrates fine French fashion with the natural incorporation of Scandinavian culture.
Bahnsen’s strong design background is pertinent in each garment: collections portray architectural volumes and sculptural yet graceful silhouettes with the utmost craftsmanship qualities. From the full and final result to the slightest details, the Danish brand manages to offer a fresh and contemporary take on femininity.
A Story Of Materials
Designer Cecile Bahnsen hand-designs unique fabrics each season. She finds how to build each collection on the previous one–just like a story–all while creating pieces that can be cherished for years.
The dynamic garments are made with the intentions of great use: to be passed on to generations, shared between friends, and reinterpreted through diversified styling for each wearer to express their individuality. The major goal is to craft clothes that can transform the wearer through unexpected combinations.
The History Of Cecilie Bahnsen
Copenhagen-native Cecile Bahnsen studied at the Royal College of Art in London and later worked with couture houses in Paris. After her initial experiences in the industry, she went back to her hometown to found her self-named label in 2015.
The founder, head designer, and LVMH Prize finalist has invented intriguing contrasts in her collections from its start: softness on structure, minimal and maximal, perfect and imperfect, and those many more that are yet to come.
